At 1st Movers we employ a transparent pricing method, which simply means that all our costs are stated upfront and there are no hidden costs involved. The idea is that a customer should pay what they were made to think they were going to pay.

We Charge ?60/hr for providing a Van and two porters, to help load/unload your belongings. This charge includes getting to you, loading your stuff, driving to the destination, any parking/toll/fuel charges, and insurance to cover your goods in transit. A Van and 3 porters can be hired for ?80/hr. Please note central London jobs in the congestion areas would incur ?8 additional congestion charge.

If booking is made for 1 hour only, there will be a ?25/van call out charge applicable. This does not apply to bookings made for more than 1 Hour.

Central London jobs in the congestion areas would incur ?8 additional congestion charge.

The above prices include up to 20 miles of one way journey from your origin to your final destination. If the items need to be delivered for over 20 miles or longer distance, please call or email us for an adjusted quote. For Instance if you are moving from Edinburgh to Livingstone there will be no extra charge. Similarly if you are moving from Hendon NW4 to Radlett WD7, there will be no extra charge. However, if you are moving from London to Edinburgh or Birmingham the above prices will not apply and we will be happy to provide you with a fixed quote.

We only start charging you from when we reach the collection address, and we stop charging you as soon as we have finished unloading and made sure that you are satisfied with the job.
